Chal Nikalte Hain Oversized Tee, Black

Oversized vs regular fit: which T-shirt size should you buy?

Ordering clothes online is easy until the parcel arrives and the fit is off. Here’s how to choose the right size, whether you want a relaxed oversized look or a neat regular fit.

What’s the difference?

Regular fit follows your body: shoulders sit on your shoulders and the sleeves end mid-upper-arm. Oversized fit is cut wider and longer on purpose: the shoulder seam drops below your shoulder, the sleeves reach near the elbow, and the body falls straight.

Measure yourself in 2 minutes

  1. Take a T-shirt that already fits you the way you like.
  2. Lay it flat. Measure straight across the chest, armpit to armpit, and double it. That’s the chest measurement size charts use.
  3. Measure the length from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.

Now compare with the size chart on the product page. Pick the size whose chest is closest to your tee’s chest.

So which size do I order?

  • Oversized tee, relaxed look: your usual size. It’s already cut big.
  • Oversized tee, but not too loose: one size down.
  • Regular tee: your usual size. Between two sizes? Go up if you like room, down if you like it snug.
  • Crop top: your usual size. For a looser, boxier crop, go one size up.

Fabric matters too

Heavier fabric holds shape better. Our oversized tees are 240 GSM and regular tees 180 GSM, both 100% super-combed cotton, bio-washed and pre-shrunk, so they don’t shrink out of size after the first wash. Wash inside out in cold water and dry in shade to keep the print fresh.
